What Data We Collect
When you use Koloritoo, we collect the following types of data:
Account information
- Email address
- Display name
- Account identifier
These are provided when you create an account.
Photos
Images that you choose from your device gallery and upload to generate coloring pages.
Generated colorings
Coloring pages created from your uploaded photos and stored in your gallery.
Token transactions
History of credit purchases, grants, and usage within the app.
Device information
Basic technical information automatically collected through Firebase, including:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- Crash reports
- Basic usage analytics
What We Do NOT Collect
Koloritoo does not collect or store payment details.
All payments are handled directly by:
- Apple App Store (iOS)
- Google Play Store (Android)
Payment information never passes through our servers.
How We Use Your Data

We do not send marketing emails.
AI Processing
To generate coloring pages, photos you upload are transmitted to Pruna AI, an AI image processing service.
Your images are used solely to generate coloring pages automatically. No human review of the images occurs.
Pruna AI processes images transiently for generation and does not retain them after processing according to their privacy documentation.
How Your Data Is Stored
Koloritoo uses Google Firebase to store and manage data. Access to your data is restricted to your own authenticated account.
Firestore
Stores account data, coloring metadata, and token transaction history.
Location: europe-west9 (Paris, EU)
Firebase Storage
Stores uploaded photos and generated coloring files.
Location: us-central1 (Iowa, United States)
Because Firebase Storage is hosted in the United States, some personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to safeguard such transfers under GDPR Article 46.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Secure HTTPS communication
- Firebase authentication and access controls
- Security rules restricting access to user data
- Infrastructure managed by Google Cloud security standards
While no system can be completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists, unless you delete it.

If you delete your account through the app, your personal data (account information, photos, and generated colorings) will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable period.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third parties. Your data is only shared with service providers necessary to operate the app.

Koloritoo relies on the following services:

These services process data according to their own privacy policies.
Automated Processing
Koloritoo uses automated AI processing to transform photos into coloring pages. This processing is purely functional and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.

Koloritoo is operated from France. If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.

Children
Koloritoo is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 years old, which is the minimum digital consent age under French law implementing GDPR Article 8.
If we discover that a child has created an account without parental consent, we will delete the account and associated data. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published at this location with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
